One of Leo's many talents....

 If you really want to know what you're letting yourself in for at Castagnola , then probably the first thing to do is read our 'VISITORS' BOOK' page  - the second thing is to get out here!

We're high up on a hill, about as remote as you can get without going wild. Our woods are full of wild boar and we're really lucky to have a family of eagles nesting up there too.

Most of our terraces are used for organic farming.We have Olive trees,  fruit trees , vegetables & of course the chickens, ducks & Archie the donkey.

We use much of our own produce for breakfast & dinner and the Gazebo is a perfect eating spot. Leo makes a wicked  'melanzane parmigiano' !

We're happy to offer lifts (not necessarily on Archie!) to and from the airport/station or even just down the hill! (well, actually the down's ok - it's the up that's a challenge!) 

We think our rooms are great. All of them self contained with en suite shower rooms. Clean and fresh looking with stunning views over the valley. The rooms are serviced daily and you might even fancy breakfast in bed.....

You'll meet our girlies who lay us plenty of fresh eggs. We raise our chickens & ducks organically & use the eggs for your breakfasts, Ice cream & Zabaione.

A local, english speaking Rockclimbing Instructor is available for anyone who wants to try climbing some of the spectacular climbing sites. Safety Equipment is provided and all of the sites are maintained by a voluntary organisation.
